Our highly experienced and well trained Project Managers and use of in-house operatives give us high levels of control of the programme and ensure that we complete on time, every time. We also take great care to ensure that projects are presented for inspection with zero snags.
Meet the Team
Sandy possesses a wide ranging knowledge of contract management coupled with 38 years hands on experience in all aspects of the construction industry. Daily activities within the Company can involve acting as Contract Manager, Surveying and Estimating. Sandy's skills lie in the co-ordination and management of construction, maintenance and refurbishment projects within Public, Commercial sectors and Private premises with a particular in-depth expertise in managing Westgale's directly employed Labour resources and management teams.
Sandy has held various posts ranging from Apprentice to Managing Director and been in charge of numerous projects ranging from single trade contracts up to complex multi million pound projects.
Cheryll's main responsibilities lie within the spheres of Financial Control, Accounts and prompt payment of Sub- contractor and Supplier accounts.
Christy is responsible for administration and general support to our project team. Her duties also include general administrative clerical duties.
Accounts and Administration
Has a degree in accounts and finance and has over 12 years’ experience in booking keeping and accounts.
Over 25 years management experience, with over 12 years experience within the industry specifically in both office/ project management and Health & Safety.
Over 44 years experience within the industry and has only ever worked with only 3 employers during the course of his career.
Past Experience - David's career started as an Apprentice Joiner and has grown to encompass Trades Foremen, General Manager through to Contracts Director responsible for 120 operatives on major contracts in both the Public, Commercial and Retail Sectors.
Estimating & Surveying
Alex has a comprehensive knowledge and wide experience throughout the full spectrum of project and contract cost evaluation. Alex has worked with Sandy for 15 years.
Over 30 years experience within the industry and having worked with Sandy and his team for over 22 years covering the All-Trades Management of their wide spectrum portfolio of contracts throughout the UK.
Past Experience – included Projects Manager on shopping centre contracts up to a value of £2 million.
Over 30 years experience within the industry and having worked with Sandy and his team for over 12 years covering the All-Trades Management of their wide spectrum portfolio of contracts throughout the UK.
Over 20 years experience within the industry and having worked with Sandy and his team for over 12 years covering various aspects of the Construction Industry. Greg was promoted in 2016 to site Manager and had managed a range of projects including Planned Maintenance projects Trades portfolio of contracts throughout Scotland.
Over 34 years experience within the industry and having worked with Sandy and his team for over 12 years covering a range of differing duties including specialising in Terrazzo and Granite flooring works. Bogdan has works on a range of contracts throughout the UK and was promoted to site manager in 2016.
Over 8 years experience within the industry and having worked with Sandy and his team for over 3 years painting and decorating works. Lee has worked on a range of contracts throughout Scotland and was trained through Westgales continuous development programme being promoted to site manager in 2017 responsible for painting and recoating projects.
