management and administration. We have a policy of developing people through training
and promoting from within, wherever possible.
Our highly experienced and well trained Project Managers and use of in-house
operatives give us high levels of control of the programme and ensure that we complete
on time, every time. We also take great care to ensure that projects are presented
for inspection with zero snags.
Sandy possesses a wide ranging knowledge of contract management coupled with 30 years
hands on experience in all aspects of the construction industry. Daily activities
within the Company can involve acting as Foreman, Contract Manager, Surveying and
Estimating. Sandy's skills lie in the co-ordination and management of property maintenance
projects within Public, Commercial and Private premises with a particular in-depth
expertise in managing Westgale's directly employed Labour resources and management
Sandy has held various posts ranging from Apprentice to Managing Director and been
in charge of numerous projects ranging from single trade contracts up to complex
multi million pound projects. However Westgale Limited has a philosophy of purposely
"punching below our financial capability" in order to concentrate on the delivery
of a quality of service.
Cheryll A. Hunter
Cheryll's main responsibilities over the last 5 years lie within the spheres of Financial
Control, Accounts and prompt payment of Sub- contractor and Supplier accounts.
Alexander J. Cunningham
Lisa has worked with Sandy during the course of the last 7 years and her main duties
involve the co-ordination of all Westgale Limited's on-site activities. Lisa oversees
all contract activities including materials acquisition, sub contractors & suppliers.
Human Resources and Personnel issues are also within Lisa's remit as is the all
important function of Customer Service delivery.
39 years within the industry and has only ever worked with 2 employers during the
course of his career and is currently responsible for Westgale's Health & Safety
Past Experience - David's career started as an Apprentice Joiner and has grown to
encompass Trades Foremen, General Manager through to Contracts Director on major
contracts in both the Public, Commercial and Retail Sectors.
25 years experience within the construction industry. 15 years of which has been
with the Westgale Team.
Past Experience - Site Foremean through to Senior Projects Manager on contracts up
to a value of £2.5 millions.
Alex has a comprehensive knowledge and wide experience throughout the full spectrum
of project and contract cost evaluation.
Alex has worked with Sandy for 15 years.
10 years experience with the company with expertise in all General Trades including
Past Experience - Lee has held various supervisory roles throughout his career and
has a wide experience spanning contract values between £5,000 and £250,000.
Christy is responsible for administration and general office duties including filing
and clerical duties.
The basic mandate for all our senior site management personnel is :-
"Trade Co-ordination, Liaison with Clients and the successful delivery of all Westgale
projects to the most exacting standards, within cost and on programme."
Anne is employed by Westgale to advise on all aspects of Company Health and Safety
issues to ensure our compliance with our Client requirements.
Anne is fully experienced and a respected Construction Health and Safety Consultant.
10 years experience with the company carrying out single ply roofs ranging from 10
sq. m. to 2,000 sq. m
Fully experienced in the application of all types of internal and external coatings.
6 Years experience with Westgale covering the All-Trades Management of their wide
spectrum portfolio of contracts.
6 years experience with Westgale. Craig's particular expertise and strengths are
on time critical contracts and void housing refurbishments.
